Rain northern Europe, fair to the south with lots of sunshine


Thursday
A few thundery showers breaking out in southern Spain on Thursday afternoon, otherwise it should be fine and dry. Staying hot and sunny in the Balearics as well as through Corsica and Sardinia. Italy will be fine and dry with more sunshine. Greece and Turkey are going to be hot too and will be remaining dry.
France should have a fine day with sunshine here. More sunshine in the Low Countries. Germany and Poland should be dry with sunny spells. Hungary and Austria remain dry with lots of sunshine although scattered showers affect western Austria and eastern Switzerland.
Denmark will have broken cloud and a scattering of showers. The Baltic States also see a few showers as will Finland. Sweden has sunny spells and should be mostly dry. Heavier showers and gales in western and southern Norway but fine in the north.


Friday
Lots of sunshine and hot weather in Spain and Portugal. More sunshine and hot temperatures across the Balearics and into Italy. Greece will be remaining dry with more sunshine here. The sunshine and hot weather continues in Turkey.
Fair in France with plenty of sunshine and remaining warm. The Low Countries and most of Germany will be remaining dry with more sunshine. Portugal will be dry with lots of sunshine. Hungary is dry with sunshine. Austria and Switzerland may have scattered showers in the afternoon but should be mostly dry.
Breezy with some showers in Denmark. Heavy showers in the Baltic States. More showers for Finland, these fading in the afternoon. Further showers in southern Sweden but dry for most with sunny spells. More unsettled in Norway with heavy showers in the north and west.
